Burmese Teak: Tectona grandis

Burmese Teak grows mainly in Central Asia in countries such as Burma, East India and West China.

The trees that grow in Burma are considered the most durable and resistant among the teak trees.

Since this is an oily wood, it has the natural ability to be resistant against pests, humidity and other weather conditions. Therefore, Burmese Teak decks are ideal for outdoor uses such decks near the sea, decks by pools or decks near water and moisture.

This tree is considered to be of higher quality and is used for tdecks, building yachts and luxurious furniture.
